Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you use MySavingsCircle. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What MySavingsCircle does

MySavingsCircle is a record-keeping tool for savings circles. It helps members agree on a payout schedule, see what's due, share payment proof and confirm payments.

We are not a bank, payment service or financial adviser. We never hold, transfer or guarantee anyone's money. All payments are made directly between members, outside the app.

Your account

• You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done through your account.
• Let us know straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.

Circles and members

• The person who creates a circle sets its rules (amount, payment day, payout method and order) and can invite or remove members.
• Once a circle is full, its payout schedule is locked so that every member's payout date stays fixed.
• Joining a circle is an agreement between you and the other members. You are responsible for paying your contributions on time and for honouring the circle's schedule.
• Disputes between members, including missed or late payments, are between those members. We can't recover money or enforce payments.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the app for fraud, money laundering or any illegal activity;
• upload false payment proof or impersonate anyone;
• harass other members or post offensive content in circle updates;
• try to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or disrupt the service.

We may suspend or close accounts, or suspend circles, that break these terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload, such as payment proofs and circle updates. You give us permission to store and show it to the relevant members so the app can work. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

Availability

We work to keep MySavingsCircle running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or improve features over time.

Limitation of liability

MySavingsCircle is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for any loss arising from payments between members, from members not paying, or from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Closing your account

You can stop using MySavingsCircle at any time. If you leave during an active circle, you are still responsible to the other members under your agreement with them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
